Danse contemporaine: Chunky Move - Mortal Engine
Mortal Engine is a new dance-video-music-laser performance using movement and sound responsive projections to portray an ever-shifting, shimmering world in which the limits of the human body are an illusion. Crackling light and staining shadows represent the most perfect or sinister of souls. Kinetic energy fluidly metamorphoses from the human figure into light image, into sound and back again. Choreography is focused on movement of unformed beings in an unfamiliar landscape searching to connect and evolve in a constant state of becoming. Veering between moments of exquisite cosmological perfection and grotesque evolutionary accidents of existence, we are driven forward by the reality of permanent change.

HRP-4C
« Bonjour tout le monde, je suis l’humain cybernétique HRP–4C ». Ainsi s’est présenté aux journalistes lundi 16 mars un robot humanoïde conçu par des scientifiques japonais.
Dotée de la parole, cette « dame-robot » peut aussi marcher comme afficher sur son visage une multitude d’expressions. Fabriqué d’après une femme Japonaise type, cet androïde pèse 43 kg et mesure 1m58. A son bord, pas moins de 38 moteurs, dont 30 dédiés au corps et huit aux expressions du visage.
Coût de sa réalisation : 2 millions de dollars. Si pour l’instant, HRP-4C n’est pas à vendre, les créateurs espèrent proposer prochainement un modèle à 200.000 dollars. Ce robot jouera les top-modèles dans un défilé prévu à Tokyo le 23 mars.

L'oeil de Dieu
The European Organisation for Astronomical Research in the Southern Hemisphere, aka ESO, has released an impressive image of the Helix Nebula captured by La Silla Observatory in Chile.
The nebula, lying at around 700 light-years away in the constellation of Aquarius, has quickly been dubbed the "Eye of God", for obvious reasons.
